In 1850 a Frenchman by the name of Pasha Auguste Marriette formed a service for the conservation of antiquities. This group made some brilliant discoveries of the mysteries of ancient Egypt. Two brothers from America, the Colbs, who longed for thrills and adventure, joined the conservation. While in Egypt, these two fell in love with the adventure of discovery and eventually began to work on their own. Three more Americans joined their team. They became well known travelling the world making important scientific discoveries. And since there have always been five on the team, before passing the team on to younger men, the Colb brothers made a board of directors to oversee and to choose new members whenever needed.
In The Explorers' Society, the team was at Niagara falls.
